LOOKING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS TO
STUDY ABROAD
Main objective:
at the end of this project, students will be able to inform the class
about a program, university, country and/or scholarship to study abroad.
Specific Objectives:
1. Look for information about the country or city in which the university is located (location, currency, population, weather, typical food, transport, life cost, cultural aspects, etc).
2. Look for the main information about the university you are interested in. Go to the website of the university and read about its main facts and history, programs, campuses, services and resources.
3. Look for information about the specific program you would like to study in this university (subjects, admissions, facilities and resources, etc).

country and university that best accomplish your expectations.

STEPS:
1. Chose the topic:

2. State the questions that will lead your project
Example:
Why am I interested in this country?
Where is the university located?
Why is this university the best option to study?
How much is a year in this university?
3. Read the information you found about the country and culture, university, and program. Underline the new words and look for the meaning in a dictionary.
4. Build your glossary about the project (March 23rd)
(INDIVIDUAL TASK) Include common or specific words and expressions related to your topic. Your glossary should contain at least 15 new words or expressions you will use in your project. Each word should have your own sentence using that new word.

5. Make a graphic organizer to classify and summarize the information and/or topics you will include in your project (April 6th)
(INDIVIDUAL TASK) Design the graphic organizers for your project. You can create one that includes the main information about the country, university and program or you can design one per each topic.
